On this 5-Day/4-Night adventure, Mesa, AZ is the starting point, and Northern AZ is the centerpiece and home base of our Grand Canyon & Northern Arizona Adventure.

Adventure Itinerary 

Monday 

May 13 - ARRIVE ANY TIME DURING THE DAY.

7:30 PM - Pizza Party Dinner

Overnight Phoenix – Hampton Inn Phoenix North

 

Tuesday

May 14 – Mesa – Sedona – Grand Canyon

•   Breakfast – Hotel, Mesa 

•   Montezuma Castle National Monument. –  Camp Verde

•   Lunch at Oaxaca Mexican Restaurant.

•   Sedona Heritage Museum (Time Permitting)

•   Grand Canyon Park–Visitor’s Center, Mather Point

•   Dinner – 1% Club Celebration Dinner.

Overnight Grand Canyon

 

Wednesday  

May 15 – Grand Canyon – Northern AZ - Flagstaff

•   Breakfast – Canyon Plaza Hotel

•   Conquer The Canyon Hike – So. Kaibab Trail – Ooh Ahh Point, Cedar Ridge.

•   Wupatki National Monument.

•   Sunset Crater.

•   Dinner – Flagstaff

Overnight Flagstaff 

Thursday 

May 16 – Flagstaff – Walnut Canyon - Sedona

•   Breakfast – Hotel

•   Walnut Canyon

•   Lunch –  The Crown Railroad – Route 66 Café

•   Sedona or Flagstaff Hike – Up to a 3-mile walk.

•   Dinner – Picazzo’s

Overnight Sedona
 

Friday

May 17 – Sedona – Red Rock State Park - Phoenix

•   Breakfast – The Coffee Pot Restaurant.

•   Red Rock State Park – Deli Lunch – Up to a 3-mile self-guided walk.

•   Depart For Phoenix

Pre-Adventure 8-Week Virtual Adventure Education Course.

While in Arizona, Adventure Includes: 

​

  • Adventure Host, Guide, and Educator. Divergent Adventures hosts and guides are masters-level or higher professional educators,  behavior analysts, and certified autism travel professionals. They stay with the group throughout the itinerary. Depending upon size, they frequently drive the group.

  • Adventure Learning Course throughout the itinerary.

  • 5-Day/4-Night Adventure

  • 4-Nights Hotel Accommodations per the itinerary. (2 students per room).

  • Meals per the itinerary: Breakfast-4; Lunch-4, Dinner-4.

  • Group Transportation throughout the itinerary. (Driver/Guide)

  • Access and entrance fees to museums, historical and cultural sites, and parks as listed in the day-to-day itinerary.

  • Detailed “Know Before You Go” information includes recommended websites, reading lists, packing lists, what to bring, weather, and more.

This Divergent Adventure trip DOES NOT include:

  • All international and domestic airfares.

  • Arrival and Departure Airport Transfers and all transfers outside of the itinerary schedule.

  • All items of a personal nature, including beverages and shopping.

  • All passport and visa application fees, vaccination, and medical consulting fees.

  • Additional hotel stays pre- or post-scheduled itinerary.

  • Early check-in or late check-out of rooms.
