What do Adventure Prep Courses and Adventures cost?If you are registering for a Divergent Adventure through a private school or employer, the cost and payments of your adventure will be administered by that organization. We will provide specific information in conjunction with them. In general, The price of Group Adventure Ed Courses varies depending upon the length of the session (4 or 10 Week) and the adventure destination selected. There are also other variables such as time of year, special developmental sessions during training, and several other options that maybe required for a successful journey. ALL prices, inclusions and exclusions are published with each individual departure. Please see each Adventure for details. Currently, Divergent Adventures (Raise The Roof For Autism) Group Adventure Ed Courses are (Arizona) ESA eligible. At this time, we accept direct payment via cash or credit card. We also provide access to Paypal Credit as an option. NOTE: This is a 3rd Party arrangement and Divergent Adventures is not the creditor, nor do we make credit decisions. A $500 per person deposit is due upon acceptance into the program. We'll invoice you for all subsequent charges and final payment for your individual adventure. All payments must be made according to the schedule for your departure. Once accepted into the program, the Initial deposit payments are non-refundable. Each adventure has an individual cancellation and refund policies. Please read and understand them. Connect with us for further information.

I am an young adult or college-aged student. How do I access the program to determine if it is right for me?Divergent Adventures takes great care to match our services to the needs of our neurodiverse members. Our program is individualized to each college age adult or university student. For non-student young adults, we request that you complete the initial interest form and a subsequent assessment application. For university students, you are invited to complete our initial intake survey, AND to indicate to us which school they currently attend. Our development team will then contact the each participant to set up an initial and follow-up assessment. We survey and screen each ASD individual and work directly with them, their family and school prior to final acceptance into the program. This FREE, no obligation screening and assessment is the first step in learning if our program is suitable to your needs. What are the dates and times of STUDENT Adventure Prep Courses?University/Student based Divergent Adventure Courses generally coincide during seasonal scholastic breaks in Winter, Spring and Summer. Typically, adventures take place within a week of completing the virtual course sessions so classes start either 4 or 10 weeks ahead of that date. Sessions meet virtually 1x per week for 4 - 10 weeks depending on the adventure destination. Classes are 1.5 hours per session. All classes take place on Zoom. Specific days/times TBD. Step me through the Student Only Adventure program and process?Complete and submit an Initial Enrollment Survey. (Contact info.) (1-Minute) Select a meeting date and time with our development team. (1-Minute) Provide us with the name of your school, and the contact information for your counselor or department head. We'll contact them with Set up a person-to-person Individualized Student and Family Assessment. (30-Minutes) Follow up student assessment and access enrollment completed. (30-Minutes) Approved Student Application, Payment. This may be direct or processed through the school. Course orientation - Social Hour (virtual). (1-hour) Sessions meet virtually 1x per week for 4 or 10 weeks for 1.5 hours per session. All classes take place on Zoom. Specific days/times TBD. Final travel arrangements. Final class and adventure orientation. Divergent Adventure Underway. (3-12 Days)
