(A) Mesa To (B). The 29 Mile Scenic Drive (AllTrails Map) (Starts at I-10 & Speedway Exit. Turn EAST to West Gates Pass Road for a long loop back to I-10.

Consider packing a picnic lunch with a visit to Worth Takeaway or the Walmart Supercenter for food, snacks, and water. There are numerous fast-food restaurants along your route, too.

Pro tip: Bring your own refillable metal or Nalgene water bottles. Purchase gallon filtered drinking water to refill them as you travel. Put a few extra gallon jugs in the car and always take them with you.

This is a full-day road trip with excellent desert scenery, unique Arizona history and family vacation destinations. Each stop has toilets, and all activities are out of doors, allowing for easier sensory impact management.
