Stroll down Main Street, explore historic buildings and unique shops, and experience the Old West come to life. Tour the Mammoth Gold Mine, visit the Goldfield Museum, and even pan for gold like the prospectors of the past. Hop aboard Arizona’s only narrow-gauge train, and don’t miss the thrilling gunfight reenactments by the famous Goldfield Gunfighters!

Once a booming 1890s gold mining town, Goldfield was on track to outgrow Mesa—until the gold ran dry, leading to its decline. Though the mines closed for good in 1926, the town’s Wild West spirit lives on. Located along the historic Apache Trail, Goldfield continues to welcome visitors from around the world, offering an unforgettable journey into Arizona’s frontier past!

Pro-Tip: Much of what happens at the Goldfield Ghost Town is outdoors, providing access to areas where it is easier to manage sensory impact. The performances are usually very well attended and can be loud and startling (ie. gunshots). If attending any of them, consider preparing your crew by letting them know what is to be expected in advance.
