HOW IT WORKS

0001 154_edited.jpg

THIS ISN'T TRAVEL AS YOU KNOW IT

Divergent Adventures didn't invent "travel adventures" for families and students affected by neurodiversity. We perfected them!

We are the first and one of the only companies to create and utilize adventure travel as a catalyst and teaching tool for neurodiverse individuals and their families.

Here's how it works For Families...

Families faced with the challenges of traveling with neurodiversity often don't travel simply because they don't have access to the resources or the knowledge they need for a successful experience. We do!

Our 4-week Family Adventure Ed Course prepares families and their neurodiverse members with proven, evidence-based information and strategies. The virtual classes culminate with a fantastic journey to places sensitive to sensory issues and where well-trained staff is welcoming and understanding. This is small group travel with 6-12 other like-minded people.

We're IN! Let's Go!

Here's how it works For University Students...

College-aged students enroll in 4 or10 week Adventure Ed Courses through a school they attend.

Students acquire life-skills they will use to successfully complete the course that ends with an exciting adventure to a special destination.

Gamification, social interaction, and outdoors activities like geocaching, walking, and hiking are a part of the learning process and set the stage for this student-only adventure.
