The next two days are packed with family fun and located close to your hotel! There is no set schedule for these days, allowing flexibility in choosing from various exciting destinations tailored to your family’s interests.

By now, we hope your family has adjusted to the daily routine and environment of the Arizona desert. The previous locations were carefully selected for lower sensory impact, and while these days are filled with activities, they are designed to be flexible and self-paced. Planning in advance helps set expectations, making the experience smoother and more enjoyable for everyone.

Through partnerships with Visit Mesa, the City of Mesa and its surrounding communities have fostered an environment that actively welcomes autistic travelers and their families. Many businesses have undergone training and earned the designation of Certified Autism Centers (CAC) to provide better accommodations for their autistic guests.

Divergent Adventures recognizes and prioritizes businesses that have earned this certification through Visit Mesa. Additionally, our team scouts and researches other businesses and destinations that provide opportunities for self-accommodation, offering Pro Tips on how to evaluate and regulate sensory impact for your family.
