What To Do:
There are a variety of trails throughout the park, offering options ranging from short, relatively flat terrain (Discovery Trail) to more challenging hikes (Treasure Loop) and even demanding routes (Siphon Draw). For families, we recommend two trails with varying degrees of difficulty. Review the trail descriptions and visual aids to determine which, or perhaps both, are best for you. Both are popular hiking destinations, so expect to share the trail with fellow outdoor enthusiasts. The best time to visit is between October and May, when temperatures are more comfortable. Dogs are welcome on the trails but must be kept on a leash.
