Your adventure begins with the Divergent Adventures Adventure course. It's a 10-week virtual-based adventure training to help prepare you for your trip. But more on that later.

Your trip "Down Under" begins in Launceston, Tasmania. No worries. We'll help get you there! You'll soon learn that there is a world of difference between here and the rest of Australia.

We'll walk Cataract Gorge in Launceston and then travel the countryside to Hobart, the State Capital. MONA (Museum of Old & New Art) is one of the world's most unique and amazing museums is in the city's heart. Created and owned by David Walsh, a member of the neurodiverse community, we'll spend a day exploring and learning in one of Australia's most fascinating and inspirational places. We may be fortunate to meet Mr. Walsh as he is frequently on the property.

We'll walk the Dove Lake Circuit and explore Cradle Mountain National Park, Russell Falls, Mt. Wellington, Bonorong Wildlife Zoo, Wineglass Bay, and a lot more.

Next is Sydney! We'll walk the Sydney Harbor Bridge,  Royal Botanic Gardens, and "The Rocks." We'll take in the famous Sydney Opera House, Bondi Beach, and Taronga Zoo

Led by expert interpretive local guides, they help bring each aspect of the adventure alive. Rich in stories, local facts, science, and global views, from the countryside to bustling city streets, students experience Australia from a familiar perspective. With assistance always by their side, it is an extraordinary opportunity to test lessons learned, apply new-found skills, and share the experience with other like-minded students.
